VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT LIBRARIES
GHOST CELLO
In 2023, Kevin Manthei and the team at Triumph Audio had reached out, and we talked about having me write a track using their newer Virtual Instrument Library; Ghost Cello, and filming some videos for it. This resulted in us working together on promotional videos, advertisement videos and the track that I wrote entitled Reverence, which was 100% created using only their VST Ghost Cello.
Since then, I’ve talked to the team consistently about different ideas, and future libraries to create more promotional material for. It’s just been a pleasure and I’m excited for the next venture with them!
FEEDBACK DRONES
Triumph Audio and I spoke again about making some promotional videos, and writing a track using their new library Feedback Drone.
I ended up writing this track called Nebulous, and used the opportunity to write a piece that felt like it would not be the first thing that came to mind when thinking about feedback. It was a great way to showcase the power of the engine they built and the freedom that it allows you to experiment.
ROADTRIP PERCUSSION
Triumph Audio Reached out again to have me create a track and an overview video for their new virtual instrument library; Roadtrip Percussion
I decided to create a track that helped showcase the percussion instrumentation mainly, with an anxiety inducing rhythm. After sending in the track named Time Bomb, it ended up surprising some of the folks at Triumph Audio, with them assuming some of the horn sounding instruments in the track must have come from other orchestral libraries, yet the entire track was recorded entirely with Roadtrip Percussion.
FIRST 3 BUNDLE
Triumph Audio had released a bundle for their 3 Libraries called “The First 3” and wanted to promote it and asked me to write piece for the bundle and make a video for it. So I did!
TONGUE DRUM
“Once again, Triumph Audio created a library I didn’t know I wanted, and now I use Tongue Drum like it was what I’ve been missing. Just like their other libraries; Tongue Drum is able to stand on it’s own so well. That is why I was able to write an entire cue with Tongue Drum exclusively.”
BARS
Triumph Audio reached out this time, very graciously asking if I would film, design and write their walkthrough for their new library Bars.
So I ended up writing over 15 minutes of original music showcasing almost every sound and patch for the entire library. It took a bit of time, but it ended up being a fun process, and the end result turned out well polished! I look forward to more work with them in the future!
